Ce qui m'inquiète, c'est que tu ne te sois pas précipiter pour préconiser un coup d'OnyX.
Un moment passager de lucidité ?

non pour onyx, suis sous léopard, donc pas conseillé encore (y aurait quelques coquilles que je n'ai pas confirmées perso sur un powerbook sous léo sur lequel je le teste (tu te doutes bien avant de l'imposer systématiquement :rateau: )
et puis pascal, lui a déjà fait faire toutes les procédures classiques

j'ai lu tous les posts de ce site.

et (presque) j'ai tout tenté :

- (post #8) suppression d'ical, des préférences (les plist), de CALcore.framework, des calendriers / réinstallation à partir du dvd --> marche pas

- (post #12) vikasr a le même problème que moi (apparemment) mais il n'a parlé qu'une seule fois ... donc je sais pas si ça a été résolu

- (post #13) j'ai pas osé viré tout le répertoire préférence ... vous en pensez quoi ?

- (post #15) j'ai qu'un seul disque dur

- (post #16) j'ai déja viré tous mes calendriers

- (post #17) je n'utilise pas .MAC ou isync, dans le doute j'ai quand même supprimé les préférences de ces 2 outils ... toujours pareil

Sous Panther la suppression ou désactivation de la police de caractère Helvetica Neue faisait planter iCal mais je suppose que depuis ce bug a été corrigé ?

solutions de secours
mettre ces fichiers de RV sur un autre compte utilisateur sur ton Mac et les gerer de là
( puisque on l'a vu ca marche)
ou
les intégrer à un agenda en ligne
des milliers de sites le peuvent à commencer par sans doute l'interface en ligne de ton adresse email, ou au besoin te créer un compte dédié
un des plus de gmail: integre les fichiers ical et permet aussi la gestion partagée en ligne, rappe de RV par SMS etc
( il a aussi ses défauts mais c'est une solution)

je lis tout ce que je trouve sur le sujet sans avancer.
Mon dernier test avec leopard: je passe sur une session "invité" vierge, j'ouvre ICAL et dans fichier, je demande "restaurer Ical" . je selectionne sur mon DD externe un des fichiers de sauvegarde du genre " ical-10/10/07-icbu" que j'ouvre.
Aprés avoir demandé confirmation et averti que c'est irreversible Leo mouline 10s puis previent que lla restauration a échouée. les données Ical n'ont pas été modifiées.
J'opterai bien volontier pour la reinstallation d'ical uniquement si c'est possible.

( et j'ai vu des soucis ical sur leopard ici et ailleurs , les fameux ACL trouvé mais non prétendu...)

Depuis une dizaine de jours je m'acharne sur mon probleme d'ical qui se gelait depuis que je suis passé sur leopard. Pour etre precis, il bloquait lorsque je voulais faire apparaitre la liste des taches en cliquant sur la petite epingle bleue en bas à droite.
Cette liste de taches comportait un nombre de fois invraisemblable de la même tache.
J'ai reactivé mon vieux G4 et remis Tiger au niveau 10 puis par connection ethernet j'ai transferé mes sauvegardes Ical ( j'en avais fait 3 en 2007) sur le G4.
A partir d' Ical, j'ai fais une restauration depuis mes sauvegardes les plus anciennes jusqu'a la plus recente.
Pas de problèmes pour celles de Fevrier et de juillet mais avec la derniere d'octobre, j'ai le même probleme que sur mon Imac avec Leopard.
Il s'agit donc d'un fichier corrompu.

Curieusementla tache multipliée a l'infini est datée du 4 fevrier et ce n'est que sur la sauvegarde d'octobre qu'elle se multiplie ainsi.

Ma question : j'aimerai supprimer la liste des taches sans toucher aux datas de l'agenda .
Je suis maintenant en mesure de tenter toutes les manips necessaires soit sur Imac G5 + Leopard soit PMG4 +Tiger. Merci de votre aide.

Bonjour à tous,
je suis sous Mac OS 10.4.11 avec iCal 2.0.5 et je connaissais exactement ce problème de plantage inopiné de iCal quelques secondes après le lancement. J'ai lu pas mal de forums, suivi pas mal de pistes sans succès.....puis c'est ce conseil d'un "grand timide" qui a marché (voir ci dessus).

Dans maison / bibliothèque / Caches / com.apple.ical j'ai trouvé des fichiers que j'ai déplacé sur mon bureau (3 fichiers : une invitation qui provenait d'un PC et dont je n'avais pas connaissance, un fichier corestorage.ics et un fichier info.plist) . Bref, après déplacement de ces fichiers mon iCal démarre sans problème et je n'ai détécté aucune perte d'information.
Merci à tous ! J'espère que ce très bon conseil marchera également pour d'autres.

confronté au même problème et après avoir lu et relu tous ce thread en supprimant tous les fichiers de préférences, de caches, d'application support, de sync et je ne sais plus quoi pour essayer de faire fonctionner mon ical en vain, j'ai suivi le lien vers macosxhints indiqué un peu plus haut et c'est là que j'ai trouvé le remède:

il faut rechercher dans le dossier ~utilisateurs/bibliothèque/calendars et supprimer ce dernier dossier "calendars" qui est apparemment corrompu. une fois à la poubelle ical se relance sans soucis!

j'espère que ceci fonctionnera également chez vous!

j'espère que tu n'as pas JETÉ ton dossier calendars mais déplacé
car c'est sans doute un seul des fichiers qui est naze
et par tests progressifs tu pourrais déterminer lequel
et ne jeter que le naze

Oui j'ai tout jeté et je ne sais par quel biais, mais la seul choses qui m'interesse dans ical c'est les rappels d'anniversaires et ils étaient toujours là!?
Au pire je peux tjours remonter le temps avec time machine pour récupérer ce qui aurait été jeté par inadvertance.

bon alors
1- détail : il n'était pas dit que t'avais leopard et /ou time machine actif

2 conseil global
en cas de manips de fichiers réparation -remplacement etc)
il est vivement conseillé de ne PAS jetter
dans un premier temps déplacer temporairement ailleurs
( par exemple un dossier de stockage temporaire genre "réparation bidule")

puis une fois que tout est rentré dans l'ordre ( et ou fichiers propres remis en place)

on peut jeter les déchets

je dis ca car si un jour tu jettes certains fichiers de datas persos ( mail, ical , carnet , itunes etc)
sans archives Time Machine , ben t'as plus de datas persos

Je me trouve dans le même cas que kilimandjaro ci-dessus, à savoir que iCal plante systématiquement au démarrage, après une dizaine de secondes. J'ai 10.4.11 et iCal 2.0.5 .

J'ai essayé les différents manoeuvres présentées, mais rien à faire.

Petite précision : Je n'avais pas lancé iCal depuis plusieurs semaines, je me sers surtout du calendrier de l'iPhone. Ce matin lorsque je l'ai lancé, iCal m'a présenté un conflit de synchronysation avec l'iPhone, concernant 4 RDV vieux de 6 mois. Même une fois ce pb reglé, iCal plante toujours.
