OK, bon alors, c'est anormal ! C'est vraiment fréquent ? Moi je conseille toujours de réparer les autorisations... Tu peut essayer, ça ne peut pas faire de mal.

Ouai, vraisemblablement, mais là j'étais à cour de vocabulaire pour qualifier ces #@&§ de plug-ins et autres &@# de hacks. L'allusion à une chose brune et malodorante me semblait parler d'elle-même. :rateau:

Et puis, je n'en ai pas après celui qui installe, il est déjà suffisamment puni de son "imprudence".

Au fait, j'ai vu dans le rapport que Application Enhancer a été également installé : à retenir pour les prochains dysfonctionnements de Mac OS X.

Là, je ne vais même pas dire ce que j'en pense par respect pour Bompi et les membres de MacGeneration.

Ce que j'en pense, de ces produits, n'est pas si négatif, même si leurs effets sont généralement néfaste : AMHA Apple se contente parfois trop du minimum syndical et est trop fermé.
Il y aurait moyen de mettre en oeuvre un minimum de configuration et d'extension sans mettre en péril ni le système ni le navigateur (sous réserve que leur design soit convenable, bien entendu). Firefox en est un bon exemple. Au lieu de cela, il faut se contenter de ce qui est proposé, ce qui est peu, et les extensions sont faites à l'arrache parce qu'il n'y a rien de prévu pour cela, ce que je trouve vraiment limite.

La "rancune" c'est que la plupart du temps, quand quelqu'un vient ici se plaindre du non fonctionnement de Safari, il a installé ce genre de bidules et qu'on finit par l'apprendre qu'après deux pages de posts. Entre-temps, il a aussi eu la "géniale" intuition de mettre Safari à la corbeille. Le post finit par devenir "Comment réinstaller mon Safari ?", parfois c'est même comme cela qu'il a débuté.

J'ai testés ces trucs, à l'époque de Safari 2, quand on n'avait pas un changement de Webcore tous les mois. Tous ne fonctionnaient pas, SIMBL interférait déjà avec d'autres logiciels. A la première mise à jour de sécurité ça partait en vrille.
Puis est venu Safari 3 et ses multiples mises à jour, les versions spécifiques pour Leopard, les mises à jour de sécurité modifiant Webcore, etc...
Non seulement ces guignols sont incapables de suivre le rythme mais je soupçonne fortement leur travail d'être bâclé (cf -> inquisitor).
Bientôt avec Safari 4 le cirque va recommencer...

APE, sans doute celui que je déteste le plus parmi ses machins, se veut une extension du noyau, il installe directement des éléments dans /Système/Bibliothèque. Son pouvoir de nuisance est en conséquence. Tout cela pour des "services" la plupart du temps très surfaits, des gadgets d'interface. Au palmarès de cette saleté que j'ai du supporté avec le clavier Logitech que j'utilisais au début 2007 : update prebending à chaque démarrage => près de deux minutes pour booter ma session complètement ; une faille de sécurité exploitée par Kevin Finisterre lors du MOAB ; l'écran bleu à l'intallation de Leopard pour ceux qui avaient laissé traîner ça derrière eux ; de multiples bugs dont des fuites de mémoire et des problèmes avec Rosetta (consultez l'historique du machin pour les détails), etc... Tous ça au niveau le plus bas du système.

A quoi ça sert d'avoir le navigateur le plus rapide si c'est pour l'alourdir et le rendre instable en installant de tels programmes ?
A quoi ça sert d'avoir un OS stable et sécurisé si c'est pour lui accoler des extensions bricolées à la va-vite, sans aucune garantie et aux mise à jour aléatoires ?

Alors, si un débutant passant par un de mes posts ulcérés hésite à installer SIMBL et APE, je n'aurai pas éructé en vain. S'il passe outre, il l'aura fait en son âme et conscience et connaîtra déjà la solution en cas de problème.

Maintenant, mon cher FrançoisMacG, ta remarque me fait prendre conscience que tout ça finit aussi par faire radotage. Dorénavant, devant de tels cas, je me contenterais d'un "Joyeux Noël !". Comprendra qui pourra.
