Barre des menus et Sécurité

Sur mon nouvel iMac Intel, système 10.4.9

Je ne parviens pas à gérer la barre des menus (partie droite of course):
J'ai testé l'effacement rapide (Commande + glisser) et enlevé la permutation rapide des utilisateurs, la date, l'état Airport, l'état Bluetooth.
Je réussis à remettre l'état Bluetooth depuis Préférences Système, mais pas le reste : impossible d'avoir la date, la permutation rapide des utilisateurs, etc.

D'autre part, lorsque je tente d'accéder à Sécurité dans Préférences Système l'"application Préférences Système (a) quitte(é) inopinément".

Je ne sais pas si les problèmes sont liés.

J'ai réparé les autorisations d'accès depuis l'"utilitaire de disque" des "utilitaires". Rien n'y fit.

Bon, pour remettre les éléments, tout se passe dans les panneaux de préférences de "Préférences Système"
- la date dans "Date et Heure" à l'onglet "Horloge"
- la permutation rapide s'active dans "Comptes" en cliquant sur la maison Options en bas de la liste des utilisateurs
- pour Airport, cela se passe dans "Réseau" à l'onglet Airport

La barre des menus refuse de se modifier par les procédures indiquées (sauf bluetooth)...

va dans tamaison/bibliothèque/préférences/

et déplace le fichier com.apple.systempreferences.plist sur le bureau

Puis quitte ta session
Ouvre la à nouveau

Que se passe-t-il ?

alors, si tu disposes d'un autre utilisateur, essaie de vérifier si le comportement est normal ou non.

si sur l'autre session tout se passe bien, c'est qu'il s'agit bien de préférences corrompues (mais celle à laquelle je pensais)

Cela ne fonctionne pas plus, ni depuis un autre admin (que j'ai créé pour tenter de débuger) ni depuis le compte de mes gosses (qui n'est pas admin)

Réinstallé Office 2004 (j'avais choisi l'installation "courte" et j'ai besoin de certains modules spécifiques). Microsoft m'aurait-il joué des tours ?
Installées bcp d'applications...
J'ai à peu près tout sauvegardé, oui. Je pensais bien à la solution ultime "réinstaller Mac OS X" après formatage du disque dur, mais si j'avais pu l'éviter...

Il y a l'option "Archiver et installer" qui permet de remettre le système au propre sans effacer les données utilisateur aussi.

Mais avant, peux-tu lancer l'application Console (dans Applications/Utilitaires) pour voir s'il y a un rapport de crash (crash.log je crois) dans lequel on aurait une description du moment ou le panneau Sécurité plante.

Fait une copie et poste la ici.

Je repasserai plus tard. J'ai des trucs à faire en début d'après-midi.

Et puis d'autres passeront lire j'espère, et t'aider à remettre ta machine d'aplomb.

Je n'ai pas souvenir d'avoir joué avec Classic... Mais on ne sait jamais.
Pour l'instant, après un ouiquende reposant, je tente d'Archiver et installer...
