Impression d'enveloppes et "carnet d'adresses"

Voilà, mon souci c'est que je n'arrive pas depuis "carnet d'adresses" à imprimer une enveloppe. Toutes les autres impressions sont valides ( listes, étiquettes, carnets d'adresses de poche) il n'y a que les enveloppes qui ne s'impriment pas.
j'ai vérifié l'imprimante, les autorisations sont également vérifiées.
Je suis sûr que c'est un truc de rien qui est mal paramètré, mais je ne vois pas d'ou ça vient.
Si quelqu'un a une solution, une piste, ben merci !!

Carnet d'adresses 4.0.6 Mac Os 10-4-11 iMAC G5 PPC et Intel (Idem sur les deux machines) Pour info, un G4 avec le même système d'exploitation et la même version de "carnet d'adresses" fonctionne correctement.

est ce le même fichier sur les 3 macs?

As tu testé avec
-d'autres carnets ( autre session)?
ou en changeant la plist du carnet?
 
C'est la même version de "Carnet d'adresses" mais les fichiers sont propres à chaque utilisateurs.
Quant à plist tu peux préciser STP je ne sais pas ce que c'est.

ce ne sont pas les mêmes fichiers carnets d'adresses ( chacun y a mis ses ajouts)?
ce point n'est pas hyper clair car tu parles de TROIS machines



plist
ce sont les fichiers de fonctionnement dans le mac
( dans les bibliotheques de l'OS et de chaque utilisateur)

il arrive que ces fichiers se corrompent
et tester le fonctionnement de la même appli mais sur une autre session
permet de savoir si la plist de l'appli session1 pourrait etre en cause

tu n'as pas répondu sur ce point ( test session2)

par ailleurs il arrive aussi que le fichier du carnet ( la base de donnée) soit naze

une autre piste serait du coté des réglages imprimante

Pour être précis,
au sein de notre association, nous avons trois Macs en réseau : Deux Imac G5 et un power Mac G4. même version de "carnet d'adresses" et même OS (10-4-11). Chaque poste à un contenu de carnet d'adresses différent.
Seul l'un des Imac G5 est en mesure d'imprimer les enveloppes. (j'ai dit une erreur, c'est bien le l'IMac G5 qui est en mesure d'imprimer et non le G4.) Sur les deux autres postes "carnet d'adresses" plante lorsqu'on demande une impression ou un aperçu de l'impression.

L'Imac qui imprime correctement peut imprimer sur l'imprimante ce celui qui plante. ce ne doit donc pas être une problème lié à l'imprimante et de toutes façons même l'aperçu est impossible.

chez moi j'ai un Imac Intel ( même configuration) qui lui aussi plante de la même manière.

Ce plantage ne se produit que sur la demande d'impression des enveloppes, les autres fonctions sont valides (liste, étiquettes, carnet d'adresses de poche)

Je cherche le pourquoi du comment mais je tourne en rond...

Les postes n'ont qu'une session...
C'est pourquoi je ne suis pas en mesure de répondre.
 
et une session ca se crée en 30 secondes

ceci dit vu la répetition du souci sur divers machines ( et endroits)
je me demande si le souci ne serait pas ailleurs
c'est à dire dans la procédure pour créer ces impressions d'enveloppe
( où je ne sais pas je ne m'en sers jamais)
 
Je viens de créer une seconde session.
Les applications "Ichat" et "carnets d'adresses" ne sont pas accessibles. Sur le dock il y a un point d'interrogation à la place.
J'essaye d'élargir les autorisations, pour l'instant sans succès.

Pour l'instant je n'arrive pas à autoriser la seconde session à utiliser le carnet d'adresses.
Je pause et je reprends vers 13h30/14h.

déjà je sens qu'on approche de la solution
OS peu ou mal entretenu
car même OSX ca s'entretient

Le ? dans dock est un grand classique
( autorisations bancales)
et sur session neuve c'est encore plus parlant

par contre la 2 e session n'a normalement aucun besoin d'etre autorisée à utiliser une appli commune
ce qui confirme au minimum autorisations pas du tout OK , voire tout l'OS

mesures globales

Avoir son OS à jour

*réparation des autorisations via utilitaire disque ou autre outil (genre Onyx) : maintenance à faire à chaque mise à jour Apple ( ou install d'une application avec installateur)
de preference via utilitaire disque si onyx est ancien

*réparation verification du volume
( via utilitaire disque du support)


*nettoyage-maintenance : voir l'outil Onyx qui fait ca très bien
lire l'aide avant de cocher des options

* téléchargement et installation de la combo update de l'OS
et ce quelque soit les mises à jour déjà faites

Cela permet de consolider l'OS et de corriger une erreur éventuelle non corrigée par une mise à jour précédente ou apparue depuis
regroupe en un seul fichier toutes les mises à jour

Si Tiger , prendre celle correspondant à l' OS et au type de processeur (PPC ou macintel)
Si panther à faire si l'OS est entre 10.3 et 10.3.8 , sinon pas très utile car ancienne,et elle ne tient pas compte de divers maj apparues depuis


mesures concernant une fonction ou application

*verification du fonctionnement de l'application ou fonction à problème sur un autre compte- autre session 2
( session 1 fermée)
Au besoin créer une session test et la garder car ca reservira toujours
Si ce marche sur session 2 , le souci est local ( session1)
et il faudra réparer session1

*nettoyage-réparation liés à une application spécifique:
application fermée déplacer ( pas jeter , garder, sur le bureau par exemple ) les fichiers liés dans la biblotheque de l'utilisateur: plist de l'appli , les caches de l'appli dans la session,et dans certains cas les fichiers de données quand il y en a dans la bibliotheque
relancer
Attention selon les applications il faudra préserver certains fichiers liés ( données persos) avant de changer les plists sinon risque d'effacement d'archives ou données

N'envisager une reinstall partielle ( application ) ou complete ( OS) qu' uniquement en dernier quand tout le reste a vraiment échoué

toutes ces manips sont complémentaires et détaillées en archives et au cas par cas selon l'application

l'OS est à jour.
La vérification des autorisations et la réparation est faite régulièrement( mardi dernier ), mais c'est vrai que depuis nous avons fait d'autres mises à jour depuis (Itunes etc..)

J'ai tout bien fait. (Je suppose, ayant un doute toutefois sur les plist) c'est vrai que ce genre de maintenance est toujours bon à faire.
Aux nouvelles :
La seconde session a bien récupérer "carnet d'adresses".... mais qui plante tout comme l'autre.

J'ai désinstallé l'application, puis l'ai ré-installé depuis le DVD de Tiger.
J'ai obtenu la version 4.0.3 au lieu de 4.0.6 qui plante comme sa copine...

N'ayant pas trouvé la mise à jour sur le net, j'ai par glissé/déposé "récupéré" la version 4.0.6 sur le poste ou "carnet d'adresses" fonctionne normalement.

Le problème demeure....
 
Pour l'imprimante, j'ai un doute car même l'aperçu n'est pas possible.
Par contre il est vrai que le poste qui fonctionne a une canon (IP4300).
Les poste qui ne fonctionnent pas une Epson 4480 et 4850
Pour le descriptif.
Je demande l'impression, rien ne se passe.
Si je renouvelle la demande, "Carnet d''adresse quitte inopinément" indique la fenêtre qui s'ouvre.

Je vais essayer de permuter les imprimantes.

L'inversion des imprimantes ne résoud pas le problème.
Le poste qui fonctionne normalement imprime les enveloppes sur la Canon et l'Epson.
l'autre sur aucune des deux imprimantes...

Pour rappel seule l'impression des enveloppes provoque le plantage.
pour l'impression des étiquettes, de la liste etc... il n'y a pas de soucis

Il n'y a aucune différence ( apparente en tous cas, parcqu'il doit bien y en avoir une quand même !) de paramètrage, je demande la même impression de la même fiche ( commune sur les 3 postes) dans le même format d'enveloppe, les préférences sont réglées de manière identique.
l'un des Mac imprime sans souci les deux autres non !!!

D'autres utilisateurs on été confrontés à ce problème, je l'ai lu sur d'autres forums, mais je n'ai jamais lu une réponse....

Pour info, les garanties sont expirées de longue dates et le recours au SAV d'Apple est plus onéreux que de changer l'application pour pouvoir imprimer les enveloppes...

c'est la même base de données ou pas?
A priori non

de toutes facons tu as un souci d'OS oet/u lien avec imprimante
( sinon session 2 sur les 2 mac à souci marcheraient)
 
Effectivement, la fiche de contact est bien commune sur les trois postes mais elle est insérée dans trois bases différentes.
Je dois réinstaller OS X-4 ?

mais il y a un souci sur au moins un mac si ce n'est 2

( tes posts sont tres peu precis car tu parles alternativement de 3 macs)
 
Sur le Mac qui fonctionne l'Imac G5, je ne m'étends pas... Il imprime les enveloppes sur toutes les imprimantes, celle reliée au poste via USB ( La Canon IP 4300) ainsi que sur les deux autres imprimantes (Epson 4450 et 4850) (partagées) qui sont sur le réseau et reliées, elles, aux deux postes "à problème".

Sur les deux autres postes, ( second IMac G5 et Power Mac G4) le problème est identique :
Je demande dans "carnet d'adresses" l'impression d'une enveloppe.
Rien ne se passe, si je redemande l'impression, la fenêtre "carnet d'adresses à quitté inopinément" s'ouvre à chaque fois.
C'est la même chose lorsque je demande l'aperçu avant impression : Rien, puis à la redemande de l'aperçu, l'application "plante"
Par contre l'impression des étiquettes, liste et carnet d'adresses de poche ne pose pas de souci.

L'impression des enveloppes ne fonctionne pas non plus si je demande l'impression sur la Canon reliée au poste fonctionnant normalement. ( j'suis clair ?)

Chaque poste a effectivement des contacts différents, mais avec des fiches en commun.
Les trois postes ont comme système d'exploitation 10-4-11 et la version 4-0-6 de " Carnet d'adresses"

En tous cas de grands grands mercis pour le temps que tu consacres à chercher la solution de ce problème
 
le fat que DEUX machines aient exactement le même souci me fait penser , au risque de me repeter à un souci de configuration naze
( imprimante et / ou reseau)

Dans la console, c'est à la fois tout petit et très grand....
Désolé, mais j'appartiens à cette catégorie d'utilisateur qui si je sais travailler sur telle ou telle application ne connais pas grand chose sur le fonctionnement même de la machine.
Et encore désolé de ne pas avoir été plus clair.

Si c'est l'OS qui flanche, le G4 par exemple à deux disques internes, le second sert uniquement a héberger un clone du premier.
Je peux tout à fait ( il faut une demie heure environ ) écraser le clone et réinstaller un Tiger tout beau, tout neuf.
Je verrais ainsi si le problème vient de l'OS ou d'ailleurs.

Si le problème persiste malgré ça, et hop ni vu ni connu je refais une sauvegarde, on sais que ce n'est pas le système d'exploitation qui est en cause.

et ensuite dans les lignes frameworks dès le 3 è
Print.framework

c'est par là qu'il faut fouiner
( réseau et /ou gestion imprimante)
 
Sur le second disque interne du Power Mac G4 j'ai écrasé le clone et ré-installé Tiger.
Un tout beau, tout neuf et là... tout repart correctement !

Il ne me reste plus qu'a ré-installer OS X-4 sur les disques concernés, pour retrouver la pleine utilisation du carnet d'adresses.

Merci infiniment, je n'aurais jamais trouvé la solution seul.
