Mac Mini 2011 ne reconnaît pas les lecteurs/graveurs DVD externes

Bonjour,

J'ai essayé deux modèles de graveur DVD externe avec mon Mac Mini 2011, sous Mavericks. Aucun des deux n'a été reconnu. Pourtant, ceux-ci s'ouvrent et se ferment. Quand un DVD est inséré, je l'entends se lancer, mais celui-ci n'apparaît nul part sur mon Mac.
Les deux modèles essayés sont des Samsung, compatibles OS X.
D'où peut provenir ce problème ?
J'avais trouvé cela :

1. Open 0xED or your preferred hex editor and use it to open the following file:/System/Library/Frameworks/DVDPlayback.framework/Versions/A
2. Using the editor's searching options, search for the text "Internal" and replace all occurrences of it (there should be four) with the text "External" and save the file. If you cannot edit the text with your program, then locate the hex code for the word "Internal" (which is "496E7465726E616C") and replace it with the hex code for the word "External" (which is "45787465726E616C").

mais ça n'a rien changé à mon problème. J'ai également essayé sur MacBook de 2008, sous Snow Leopard, pas mieux.
