Hotsynch palm sous OS X

Bonjour
Qui a déjà essayé de faire la synchro d'un palm sous OS X ?
D'après Palm, ça semble risqué ...

Chez moi, ça marche sans problème...

Configuration : USB, avec adaptateur KeySpan.

J'avais fait l'installation en rebootant sous OS 9. Comme je travaille avec un profil utilisateur non administrateur, j'ai dû ensuite rectifier un peu les droits unix des documents utilisateurs qui sont contenus dans 'Applications (MacOS 9):Palm:Users:' pour en devenir propriétaire...

Je crois que le problème de droit ne se serait pas posé si j'avais fait l'install sous l'environnement Classic de OS X

A ce que je lis un peu partout, si la synchro se fait par le port USB, ça fonctionne sans problème (via l'environnement Classic).

Par contre, pour moi qui fait la synchro sous OS 9 par le port Infra rouge de mon Powerbook (j'ai pas envie d'acheter un adaptateur, ni de trimballer le support du Palm), ben je n'ai plus de synchro possible sous OS X pour l'instant (la gestion du port infra rouge n'est pas encore implémentée...)

Pouvez vous confirmer que l'on peut bien synchorniser un Visor (ou un palm) sous Mac Os X via Classic.

Palm Desktop 2.6.x will run in the Classic environment allowing you to create, view and edit information. The HotSync Manager software required to perform a HotSync operation is working under certain situations, but is not officially supported (see "Can I perform a HotSync operation under Mac OS X?").

While Mac OS X is not yet supported by Palm, testing has shown that you can perform a HotSync operation if the Classic environment in Mac OS X is running and you are using the PalmConnect USB Kit (the PalmConnect Serial Kit and the Universal USB cradle do not currently work in the Classic environment, but they do work in Mac OS 9.x). Please note, that the Classic environment must first be running to perform a HotSync operation (tip: set the Mac OS X preferences to launch Classic at startup).

Adaptateur série-USB... (vu que le Palm exige un port série).

Pour la synchro depuis l'USB, il faut attendre OS X 10.1. J'ai un Palm m500 et ça marche avec OS X 10.1 5G40 (version beta), alors que ça n'allait pas avec la 10.0.4

Le Palm exige un port série? Si tu achètes l'USB kit de Palm, tu pourras le brancher sur ton port USB sans problème. J'ai fait ça avec mon Palm Vx.
