Illustrator CS2 - plante au démarrage- PDF suite.aip

Bonjour, je finis par poster un message sur le forum après avoir testé plusieurs choses.

ma configuraton mac : Mac OS X 10.5.8


Donc du jour au lendemain Illustrator (CS2) se bloque à son démarrage alors que la fenêtre affiche "initializing... PDF suite.aip" et là il quitte inopinément.

J'ai lu comme quoi on pouvait essayer de réparer tout ce qui était relatif au PDF à partir "acrobat >aide > detecter et réparer", cela n'a rien changé, j'ai voulu faire un restauration système mais ça n'a pas fonctionné, j'ai réinstallé illustrator, toujours pas, j'ai utilisé Onyx pour qui m'a confirmer de faire une réparation de disque que j'ai faite mais ça ne marche toujours pas.
J'ai fait les dernières mises à jour mac pour voir si cela changeait quelque chose et rien de plus.

C'est peut-être un problème de police : lis bien le chapitre 8 de ce document, il y est question de CS & CS2 qui ne peuvent se lancer si un certain dossier de police (/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fonts/Reqrd/) n'est pas présent :

Bonjour merci pour votre réponse, j'ai donc vérifié les doublons de polices sans toucher au polices system, parcontre il est vrai que le dossier ou fichier que vous m'indiquez n'est pas présent.
Voila le seul fichier présent :

Library > Application Support > fonts > AdobeFnt10.lst

Savez vous de quoi il s'agit ?

Ai-je une chance de refaire marcher illustrator si je reinstalle toute la creative suite ou si je réinstalle a partir du CD d'installation MAC OSX le dossier fonts system ( je ne sais pas si c'est possible) ?

Le problème devait bien venir des polices de textes...
Je me suis servie de Fontdoctor pour diagnostiquer les polices à problèmes (un total de 45000 polices dans le disque dur, normal que ça finisse par poser problème). J'ai donc virer toutes les polices à problèmes et supprimer directement dans mes dossiers de polices toutes les polices obsolètes, et bizarrement ça remarche ...

Donc ça n'a rien de bizarre, le comportement des logiciels CSx avec les polices est prévisible et connu, même s'il est parfois déconcertant.

Emulation : dans ce cas précis il s'agit d'un logiciel programmé pour processeur PowerPC et qui fonctionne sur processeur Intel, l'émulateur (Rosetta) converti les instructions PPC en instructions Intel à la volée. C'est pour ça que ça consomme beaucoup de RAM et de temps processeurs.
