probleme airport après tentative de partage pour DS

Aïe !

J'ai voulu tenter se suivre un pas à pas pour connecter ma nintendo ds sur ma borne airport... J'ai trouvé celui-ci :

Step 1: Turn on internet sharing:
Go to "System Preferences";
Click on "Sharing";
Click on the "Internet" tab
Change the "Share your connection from:" selector to "Built-in Ethernet";
Under "To computers using:", check the "Airport".
Click "Airport options..."
Enter an easy name such as "ds";
Leave all the security options blank. (implementing security is an exercise left to the reader.)
Click OK.;
Click "Start" in the internet sharing panel.

J'ai tout bien fait comme ils disent... Mais d'un coup... évidemment... ma connexion internet ne marchait plus... plus de serveurs trouvé... je cherche, j'essaye de revenir en arrière.... impossible... diagnostique impossible... bref panique à bord...

Pour le moment, j'ai reconnecté mon modem cable sur le port ethernet en directe et j'ai reconfiguré ma connexion et tout est ok...

Mais j'ai quand même un petit soucis... je ne peux plus rétablir ce qui était avant...

Quand j'ouvre les pref systeme /partage/internet dans la section aux ordinateurs via je n'ai plus l'option "airport", celle que j'avais sélectionnée en suivant le pas à pas... impossible de la modifier donc... Je lui avais donné un nouveau nom comme conseillé : "ds" et désormais, quand j'active airport, au lieu d'avoir l'icone classique dans la barre menu, j'ai une nouvelle icone avec une flèche dessus (et j'ai plus les différents réseaux qui s'afffichent comme avant...) Je ne peux même plus désactiver le partage internet (en tout cas je sais pas faire)

Si je lance l'assistant de config internet, il n'arrive plus à trouver le fai ni internet...

J'avoue que cette fois, je suis échec et mat ... Et tout ça pour que mon fils puisse échanger un pokémon !!!! Je vous jure ! ;-)

Si quelqu'un connait THE solution, je le bénis par avance des Dieux...

Je viens de réparer... En lançant un partage via un autre port et en l'arrêtant en route, je suis revenu aux choix initiaux...

Mais du coup j'ai une question : peut -on relier son ordi principal par ethernet (par le fil qui va au modem) et partager via la borne airport cette liaison avec d'autres ordi (dont la ds) au lieu de brancher la borne au fil du modem et de relier son ordi principal via les ondes ? (vous avez suivi ?)

je veux pas essayer là tout de suite parce que je suis un peu refroidi pour les bidouilles... Mais ce serait bien parce que quoi qu'on dise, les pages internet s'affichent hyper plus vite quand l'ordi est relié directment au modem via ethernet plutôt que par la airport (l'ancien model je précise)

Hi All. I just wrote up this guide. Thought it might be useful.

With the recent release of Mario Kart DS and Tony Hawk: American Sk8land, Nintendo has launched its new WiFi service. If you've got an OSX box with internet access (other than through the airport card) and an airport card to transmit from, you can get online in no time.
This step by step guide has enough detail to be followed by a networking novice.

Step 0: Make sure you're connected to the internet via, e.g., ethernet.

Step 1: Turn on internet sharing:
Go to "System Preferences";
Click on "Sharing";
Click on the "Internet" tab
Change the "Share your connection from:" selector to "Built-in Ethernet";

Click "Airport options..."

For sharing internet access with other computers, this is usually sufficient. however, the DS doesn't play well with the built-in DHCP server, so we have to manually configure the DS. To this we, must gather some info.


Step 2: Gather info.
Open Terminal.app;
Type ifconfig en1;
Look for: "inet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask" ...;
Take note the IP Address (the x's) associated with the first inet (Mine was 10.0.2.1, Yours may be different.);
Type dig;
Near the bottom of this output will be SERVER: followed by an IP Address. This will be the DNS server you will use for your DS.

Step 3: Configuring the DS.
Edit your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings from within a compatible game;
Select a connection to edit;
Choose "Manual Setup";
Enter the following parameters:
SSID: "nds" (or whatever you chose in step 1);
Auto-obtain IP Address: "No";
IP Address: Take the first IP Address you obtained earlier, and make the last digit bigger. (e.g., mine could be 10.0.2.4);
Subnet mask: "255.255.255.0"
Gateway: The first IP Address, unchanged. (e.g. 10.0.2.1)
Auto-obtain DNS: "No";
Primary DNS: your DNS SERVER from the earlier dig output.
Test your connection at the top of the screen. You should have no problem connecting.

La seule chose que j'aimerais bien savoir en fait, c'est comment continuer à surfer sur le net après cette manip ??? Quelles sont les modifs à apporter à sa config... ?

Puisque pour moi : après ça : plus de connexion possible :-(
