10.14 Mojave Installation Catalina impossible après clonage disque

On voit que Macintosh HD a baissé de 470 Go à 429 Go d'occupation des blocs : ce qui devient "possiblement gérable" avec 71 Go de marge dans le volume de 500 Go Clone.

- tu veux supprimer aussi sur le Bureau ?​

  • qui va empêcher le Mac de dormir pendant l'opération ; elle passe en affichant le du processus caffeinate renvoyé en arrière-plan du terminal ouvert

  • la commande clone l'intégralité des fichiers de Macintosh HD dans Clone
  • une ligne s'affiche par fichier copié
  • la copie suit l'ordre alphabétique des dossiers > sous-dossiers > fichiers

=> si tu vois un défilé de lignes démarrer à l'écran > c'est que le clonage est lancé. Attends jusqu'à l'arrêt du défilé et au retour de l'invite de commande -bash-3.2# en signal de complétion. Tu peux laisser ton Mac sans surveillance. Préviens quand tout est fini.

Il me vient un scrupule avant qu'on reformate Macintosh HD : quel est l'OS qui va être réinstallé ?

Un autre chix, plutôt que de télécharger l'install de Catalina au moyen du mode recovery, j'avais déjà téléchargé l'appli d'install de Catalina qui est dans mon dossier Applications (il pèse 8Go). En revanche, en me baladant dans le dossier Apllications, je viens de voir qu'il manques toutes les applications. Est-ce normal ? Voilà la commande que j'obtiens :
