10.15 Catalina Problème espace insuffisant

Effectivement : il faut dans les 30 Go (!) d'espace libre disponible dans un Conteneur apfs => pour pouvoir passer à Catalina. Ce qui n'est pas ton cas où tu as à peine plus de 9 Go d'espace libre.

- question : as-tu déjà tenté une fois la mise-à-niveau à Catalina => ce qui aurait occasionné un plantage aussi bien de l'installation > que de ta capacité à démarrer l'ancien OS installé pour ré-ouvrir ta session > enfin de l'espace libre du Conteneur amputé des +8 Go de composants d'installation de Catalina ?​

Il me semble avoir déjà tenté de l'installer, mais ça n'avait pas fonctionné. Je ne me souviens plus pourquoi (problème de réseau peut-être). Par contre, pas de plantage ou ni de difficulté pour ré-ouvrir ma session...

Pas d'erreur et pas de signalement de snapshots.

- on va mesurer les groupements de fichiers dans le volume pour voir si leur taille globale équivaut à celle des blocs occupés et s'il n'y a pas d'anomalies. Mais pour ce faire > il ne faut pas que le SIP (protocole de sécurisation) soit activé > sinon il bloquerait partiellement la commande de mesure en dénaturant ses résultats.​

Je comptabilise 95,4 Gi = 103 Go de fichiers. Soit 3 Go de moins que les 106 Go de blocs occupés. Je ne suis pas certain que cette petite sur-allocation de blocs occupés mérite une enquête fouillée.

- parmi les 103 Go de fichiers > seul des dossiers-Système : private avec 16 Gi = 17 Go paraît un peu chargé. Sinon > le dossier Utilisateurs fait 51 Gi = 55 Go => estimes-tu avoir dans les 55 Go de données personnelles ou moins ?​
 
Ce qui m'étonne, c'est qu'à part les photos qui se synchronisent avec mon iPhone, j'ai tout stocké sur GoogleDrive, et pas sur l'ordi (à part quelques fichiers minimes sur le bureau). Donc ça me paraît bizarre que je manque d'espace.

D'acc. Je sais que j'ai beaucoup sur mon Drive, puisque j'enregistre tout dessus. Je pourrais trier, effectivement.
Donc c'est essentiellement car j'ai installé le dossier Google Drive sur mon Finder si je comprends bien? Si je l'utilisais directement sur Internet, il y aurait plus de place sur mon ordinateur?

Dans la Bibliothèque > il y a plusieurs groupements : Application Support 5,8 Gi = 6,3 Go > Containers 2,2 Gi = 2,4 Go > Mobile Documents 1,8 Gi = 2 Go > iTunes 4,5 Gi = 4,9 Go.

- je ne sais pas si on peut grapiller de l'espace significatif en éliminant des fichiers quelque part. Tu aurais surtout intérêt à faire maigrir le sous-dossier Google Drive.​
