Intego ContentBarrier 1.3.3 is a content control program for the Macintosh,
providing functions for parents and businesses. It is designed to filter and
block certain Internet content according to the settings you choose.
Intego ContentBarrier X blocks adult web sites, sites with subjects not fit
for children, and even blocks chats when predatory language is used. It
blocks all offensive content coming from the Internet.
However we must warn you that ContentBarrier 1.x, including the recent 1.3.3
update, IS NOT compatible with MacOS X nor the Classic environment.
The new release includes two installers, ContentBarrier 1.3.3 as well as
ContentBarrier X. ContentBarrier X is currently being presented at Macworld
expo (San Francisco).

ContentBarrier X package offers the following improvements:
* OS X compatibility including Jaguar ( X.2...X.2.3)
* New native and Cocoa application for better filtering performances.
* Seamless interface with Mac OS X user accounts
* Multiple users - if you have several children, you can adjust the
settings for their age and maturity
* Multiple levels of protection
* Pre-determined categories for safe and easy content filtering
* Limit Internet access by day and time
* Anti-predator function to block predatory language in chat sessions
* Trusted site selection - you can set the program to block all sites
except those you select
* Keep a detailed log of each user's Internet sessions
* Traffic data recorded for an overview of Internet use
* Automatic updates with Intego's NetUpdate function
* Automatic e-mail notification of certain events
* Automatic search engine redirection
* Only authorized users can change program settings
The program has one year content filters update, we update the program every
months, however as many users, you can also choose to customize the program
by adding your own filters or own Urls list.
The OS X version will be available on January 27th.
